Help! I have a 2001 Ducato 2.8 that needs a new speedo cable, anyone know where to get one? Have tried local dealers in Northumberland but with no luck, getting desrarate MOT due soon.

By the way as far as I know speedo is not testedin the mot for cars for lgvs

Are you sure the cable is duff and its not the speedo itself or the sender.

Local garage has checked and it's the cable but they can't get one anywhere!

If you get really desperate this company can make you one.

Your VIN is vehicle identification number on the plate under the bonnet, there are lots of varirations depending on engine, load, tacho fitted, left hand drive/righthand drive.

Assumings its right hand drive, no tacho:
2.8 straight diesel 18 quintals : 1315813080
2.8 straight diesel, 10/14 quintals : 1322910080
2.8 td/idtd/jtd, 2.0jtd : 1315813080

Cant find any of the 1315813080 in stock anywhere.
alfashop sold some lately might be worth checking with them, otherwise scrapyard, or get one made by cable-tec or venhill

Well eper is a bit confused , checked the newer eper release 80 and its giving me the option of a rhd low roof short wheelbase OR a left hand drive high roof short wheelbase for that vin. Thats the correct part number for the rhd. If they say its not orderable then I suppose its not. This is the only one I can find that says in stock online, http://auto-service.auto.pl/sklep/product.php?id_product=30351194 probably same price to get one made locally by the time you're shipped it from poland.

OPs van is 2.8 non turbo right hand drives, those are lhd. Great to see the site updated thogh, theres a ton of stuff on there you just genereally couldn't find it before.
