Hi all summers here in Australia so the my my11 Ducato without fail has again decided to stop working and again its the fan speed switch and fan resistor this time it even caught fire smoke everywhere but unfortunately it went out . The resistor isnt an issue i can source in Australia its the actual fan speed controller switch that needs replacing and over here FIAT to their wisdom refuse to stock and wish to supply me with a complete controller and wiring harness quoted approx $1200.00 bit high for a switch .Ive since learned that FIAT has realized this is a problem and have modified the harness and installed a relay in the wiring to stop the current load on the resistor and subsequent switch but aren't calling it a warrantable item .
so the part im searching for is marked B837 12v

that's the resitior pack - they are 2-a-penny,

Adam needs the switch ( and wiring..??)

would a Punto / Stilo switch work / fit ?, as they are also REALLY common in the UK..!!

The fan switch part number I looked up on ePer for X250 Ducato is - 77366210 replaced/superceded by 77362439.
as for the wiring harness/relay ?????????
