Hi Fiat fans,

I'd like to introduce myself:

I have a motorhome based on Fiat Ducato X244 2.8JTD Maxi with 146 HP (2002-2006 model) and I'd like to install the cruise control o better to say activate the ECU and change the steering wheel to another one with the cc buttons (I did it in my Seat Leon several years ago).

As getting one of these steering wheels seems hard to do I was thinking on connecting directly the ECU with pushbuttons, is it possible? has anybody tried that? I think this signals don't go through the CanBus but they're wired directly to the ECU. I don't know neither at what voltage do they work nor the pinout of the ECU.

Just to summarize, I'm looking for the pinout of this ECU model fitted in a Fiat Ducato BOSCH EDC15C7 CF3, can anybody send it to me?

Find attached some pictures done with FiatEcuScan, is there any other better software or more complete?

S2,

Hi
See attached doc for the two versions of the BOSCH EDC15C7 (CF3??) pin-outs used with the VGT model as you said yours was 146 HP model it must be the VGT engine
This info was taken from the 02-06 eLearn available from the downloads section - suggest you download a copy & burn it to CD for more info.
Found in the - Descriptions>engine>Fuel System section
Hope this helps
Cheers

I'll keep working on this and post any news

S2,

I've been watchin ebay fora steering wheel with the controls but not a sausage, doesn't seem to have been a popular option. Was wondering bout rewiring the audio buttons for cruise control.
