I hope some one can answer my question.

Do the wheels from the previous generation of Ducato`s fit the X250.

I am looking for two 16" rims for my Maxi. I see plenty for sale for the older vehicle, but am afraid to buy in case they are different.

I would buy wheels from who ever may have them, at the right price, and who can arrange a courier.

Many thanks.

15" wheels are 5x118 and 16" are 5x130 for both models as far as i know so the old ones should fit

You can get new steelies on ebay.de but if it was me I'd look for a set locally with excellent tyres as you'll actually save money in the long run that way.

I am going through the same exersize as I need a 15" steel spare for a new 2011 Autotrail Excel motorhome on a Fiat base. I already have a suitable tyre but I have been informed that the wheels actually changed in 2006 (presumably either the amount of recess or the distance between the holes?) The tyre sizes do not appear to have altered.

I suppose I need a bit of convincing that an older pre-2006 wheel will actually fit as it would be an expensive mistake if it didn't!

The alloy wheels from my previous motorhome (2004 Ducato Maxi 16") fit onto my 2007 x250 Maxi van, apart from the tiny plastic centre caps on the front which wouldn't fit as the end of the drive shaft was a little too long. I got round this by grinding about 4mm of the excess thread off the end and all was ok.

If you get the right stud pcd you will be ok. As far as I know they are 5 x 118 x 15", 5 x 118 x 16", and 5 x 130 x 16"
