How do I remove the broken driver's side door mirror ( Caused by white van man!!!!) from my Fiat Ducato Motorhome?

For a 2.8 JTD do following. May be the same for a 2008 model.
To remove the glass, angle the mirror so it is facing as far towards the van and upwards (if possible) as possible. Using a thin piece of wood or a screw driver prise the two ends of the long spring wire that runs right around the glass from the clips at the bottom by pushing the spring wire end "inwards". Each end can be disengaged and then the glass and its mount just pull out.
