Hi,
I would be grateful for any info on this issue with a 2004, 2800cc Camper Van with factory fitted aircon.
When aircon is selected none of the 2 condenser/radiator cooling fans operate until the refrigerant Highside pressure reaches 14Bar. At this stage the N/S fan cuts in at fast speed, until the refrigerant pressure drops to approx 9Bar. Then the cycle starts again. I guess that the O/S fan is meant to operate as soon as aircon is selected (or even both fans are meant to operate at low speed when aircon is selected).
The Lowside pressure remains at approx 2Bar throughout the above.
The O/S fan is free to rotate by hand but never operates.
No Fault codes are present in the ECU.
Has any of you guy's experienced a similar fault ?
Have anyone got a wiring diagram for this vehicle ?
Any advice/info on diagnosing this fault would be very much appreciated before I send it off to the main dealers.
