Hi, I've just bought a new ducato motorhome 2.2 multijet, direct german import, left hooker, as anyone on here done anything similar ?
I've had registered into the fiat UK warranty system, so hopefully if there is any problem with it, fiat should fix it

I did a similar thing last week but mines 17 years old

Its a burstner and its not in bad condition considering its age, it even passed its mot on thursday with just a couple of wipers needed!

Now to get it registered.

The issue will not be with the chassis, Fiat will indeed deal with any issues under the pan European warranty.

Your habitation warranty is with the supplying dealer so your annual service will need to be done there and any warranty issues too.

I am sure you'll be able to tie that in with holidays.

Cracking van mate

thanks t, we've just done our first french holiday in it, went down to saint valery near abiville, with no problems whatsoever, its got 2200 miles on it now.
The van was bought at a saving of about 7 to 8 k compared to UK motorhome dealers, here is the link to the sight :
