bump stops may be the cure for all, but id check the spare tyre is not loose and exhaust isnt knocking.

what type of noises do you get, i get various noises from my mpv one being the back seat seems to be moving about a lot and the plastics on the interior. they seem to have a lot of flex in them!

Spring helpers are not that worn for a Doblo

Shocks or something else google bump stop & look at a new one

thanks for your replies guys, bump stops looked knackered to me, I get the most noise when loaded, it can be recorded travelling along when loaded, seems to come from drivers side rear most of it, I thought leaf springs and/or shocks, I don't want to just guess at changing parts if I can help it, but there's hell of a lot of noise going on, so much so that passengers have complained about it, ots a sort squeaky eeee noise with a banging/knocking also, spares been out and in several times as I've had damned punctures a lot aargh. Strange thing is been making these noises for ages and passed test with no adv, 108 k miles rarely carries heavy loads, I think mine might be the one with thicker rear axle as mentioned on here before sots quite high up at back. With my 2007 Doblo it was the rear shock absorber bushes causing clonks over bumps (see my photos in the post linked below).

https://www.fiatforum.com/doblo/348491-replacement-rear-shockers-they-all-same.html?p=3469598

Other possibilities include anti-roll bar bushes and drop links, plus the things others have mentioned. Bump stops on mine are in poor condition, but don't cause any clonking or banging, even with a few bags of cement in the back.

It can be hard to tell from static photos, you may need to get in there with a crowbar to see what moves when it shouldn't, just like the MOT person would do.

Cheers, and hope you find a cheap and easy fix.

Barry.

Had a rattle from rear end.

Rear box needed replacing, found that the heat shield fixing (above the box) had pulled through the heat shield.

Repaired it.

Rattle gone.

Cheers

Ron

Now that a worn spring helper in Rons photo Neilycus

Those rubbers aren't bump stops they are part of the suspension I'm told they are cheap and easy to fit, I used a small cold chisel and hammer to get the thread loosened then spun them off. It took longer to remove the wheel than change um. Worth doing it improves handling no end [emoji4]

Thanks for your reply ed, you say they just spin off, does anyone know what they're called? I thought they were bump stops, they look pretty knackered to me. Neil

I know them as spring assistors, but most call them bump stops and that's the best thing to search for on eBay. Like others have said they are inexpensive and very easy to change.

I thought they were bump stops, I might try and fit them in better weather cheers mate. Neil

Have you checked the anti roll bar bushes. this was the cause of my bumps and rattles. only problem is you need to buy the ARB as akit which is very pricey. Or buy the parts off fleabay and do a DIY repair..??
