hi all
i have a problem with both my side doors in that they will not stay open. Cant see anything obvious the small latching hook is still there on the lower arm. Can anybody help?
Regards Andy

You don't say what year Doblo you have, so I can only refer to my later model.

The hook on the lower arm should be free to move.
At the end of the cable on the latching mechanism, there is another small hook - this latches on to the larger hook to hold the door open. Make sure the smaller hook is free and that the cable hasn't seized (probably the most likely cause).
It's all easily accessible.

It is worth investing in some aerosol grease and keeping the mechanism liberally coated. Likewise, the tracks for the door slide are exposed to the elements, and the lower slide is notorious for filling up with road cr*p, particularly in the winter, and it needs to be lubricated regularly, otherwise your door will slowly get stiffer and eventually refuse to move (at the most inopportune moment!)

hijacking a thread, my apologies.

without having been to look i have noticed both of my sliding doors are rubbing against the top rear quarter chipping paint away when opening or closing.

are these doors adjustable in any way that they can be lifted or dropped? not a major concern right now but could be.

the mpv os a 02 jtd.

Never liked grease it collects dirt, when washing we always pressure wash the bottom slider rail & pocket, never had a problem.
Doors are adjustable on door runner support arms, are you sure they have dropped not moved in, lower arm is adjustable in horizontal & vertical
