Hey guys, hows you all doing? Not new here, had to re register as I couldn't remember my user password.
Anyway, bit of a drama going on,I bought a non runner Doblo cargo 1.3 diesel.
After replacing the oil pump, timing chain kit,2 cams,a bunch of rockers and a turbo, all seemed good......to begin with, however, recently, the oil pressure has dropped right off,to now "0" psi.The light hardly goes out now.
I know this isn't the switch,as I put a gauge on to check.
Also, the paper filter has been replaced.
When I changed the oil filter,a strange click was heard, but never managed to find out what it was.I don't know if this is related at all.
The only genuine parts were the 2 cams, and the cam box.Everything else is pattern.
Has anyone else ever encountered this?
Is there any other things I can check out before I strip it all out again?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.:bang::bang::bang::bang:

hi, and welcome back, :)
TBH it soulds odd,
not had much to do with the lil' diesel,

look search in the many panda section multijet threads.., plenty of camchain rebuilds there.;)

 SOME filters have a bypass in them.., is it possible that's upsetting flow..

Thanks Charlie, I must make a not of my usernames etc,he he.
I'm hoping it's something simple like that.i think I'll try taking off the crank sensor, taking off the oil filter and crank it over and see what happens.
I can't see the new pump being bad,it's only gears inside.i really don't want to take it to bits again.
I'm also just thinking maybe the pressure relief valve is jammed open.
Really clutching at straws now.he he.

Still no luck, tonight I removed the filter, cranked it over and within 5 seconds the filter bowl was full.
So I ran it without the filter, then with the filter.on both occasions there was no oil pressure at all.the gauge didn't even flicker.
I put airline in the pressure switch hole, and all that is clear too.
Has anyone else ever encountered this?
