Looking at the floor area of my Cargo, between the rear arches and the front seats, the floor is flat, and the area marked out in green *appears* to be a panel applied over what would be the foot-wells to the rear seats on an MPV version.
I have a Cunning Plan (tm) that would involve cutting the panel either side of the handbrake tunnel, as per the second pic, then adding lids to provide under-floor storage of tools, jack etc
What I'm looking for is if anyone has either done this before, or a rear seat conversion, or can confirm that in the van version, the panel simply creates an empty box section either side of the handbrake tunnel out of what would be the rear foot-wells on an MPV, and it's therefore safe to cut into the floor?
Any help or suggestions welcome :yum:
