Hi Folks , our vw T4 finally dies on us and after lots of looking at berlingos, partners we got ourselves a 2003 Doblo , advertised at £1500 purchased for £1100 last Sunday. My partner went up to buy the 1.9 JTD Sx , Good condition , drives great compared to the old T4 [ non turbo ].
Didnt inspect log book when she got back ,had test drive everything fine., sorted out insurance and looked on Log Book and its a SX and not a JTD , we specifically wanted a turbo, it was advertised as a turbo but am I right in thinking a 1.9 SX 2003 is the non Turbo model ?
Not sure wether to complain and take back due to wrongly advertised or accept it as it is [ its way better than the T4 ] and try get some money off , it was from a dealer advertised on Gumtree.
Any opinions apreciated....Calum

You can soon feel the turbo kick in when you drive it. No sudden push in the back when you floor the throttle at 1500rpm - no turbo. Or a failed turbo.

Check with a dealer, there certainly was an SX JTD available.

Thanks for replies.I'm presuming the JTD is badged JTD SX ? on back door its just SX and in theVO5 its SX
Is the Turbo obvious to look at ? [ bit thick I know ]

Doesn't the engine cover/noise muffler have a large 'JTD' stamped on it for turbo models?
Bit late to go out and have a look at mine.
Looking at pics I've seen on here I think the non turbo seems to have a couple of plastic ducting channels running on top of the engine top cover.
