Guys,

Mrs_G's Doblo is in the garage being fitted with a new cylinder head as the original has cracked.

They were just starting to reassemble the van when they found that the short metal pipe that carries the hot gases from the exhaust manifold to the EGR cooler is fractured. It would seem that this pipe is only available with a new EGR cooler and an exorbitant price.

Any suggestions as to where I might get a replacement pipe would be gratefully received. I've registered with some of the online breakers but thought it worth asking here as well.

Found a good used one for £40 via the web.


Hopefully the Dobbin will be back cruising the motorways soon.

£380! could get one custom made for a lot lot less than that!
