Hi

I have bitten the bullet and bought a 2011 Doblo Eleganza (2 Ltr diesel). No parallel roof bars fitted, so wonder what the best solution is to fit aftermarket bars/fiat bars. I need advice on where to look and what to look for! I think it is possible to buy 3 cross bars that fit directly on to the roof, but need confirmation of this or advice otherwise (and where to buy them). I have a roof box so need only 2 bars for that but have windsurfing gear too and have used two bars on a car ok, but the 3 bars might be stronger and look smarter.

I also wonder if its possible to fit aftermarket parallel bars, but would like to know where to source them.

This is not an urgent enquiry as I don't need the bars for a few months, but am keen to get involved as an owner - as the quirky Doblo has appealed since version 1 but my family had different ideas (!) so now I hope the Doblo will suit me...!

Thanks for any advice....

Pete:)

I have a pair of rails on mine. I think they look much nicer than the cross bars - and supposedly more aerodynamic (who knows).
Mine were just cheapies* off ebay.
Still around £80 though.
Even though they were listed for the dobbie, ~I don't think they were https://www.fiatforum.com/doblo/111177-new-accessories-available-2.html

I have seen some since which were simply a round tube with flattened ends and a centre support welded on, a smidge cheaper & probably fit better.
I have since wondered if a set of rails off a different marque might fit?
