Hi All, had this van 5 months ran perfect untill last week, it just died at 55 mph service light came on followed by ignition. next day had code reading 404020 and 019120... i have been told its P4040 and P0191.
i removed EGR valve good clean and put back, still not start.
i have removed all fuel pipes to filter and engine and no fuel moving at all,
also removed return pipe on injector (no fuel flow).
i know code P0191 refers to fuel rail low preasure/ or no fuel, but can anyone give me an idea of what to test next and how if technical.
Only i dont fancy big bills from fiat!

ps im still unsure about the EGR valve working. and if this is faulty would it shut down the fuel side untill fixed?

Diagnostic equipment would be very hellpful here to read the high fuel pressures.

Do you have fuel at the filter?

Hi, yes fuel in filter, when pipes were removed from engine side fuel did run from them too, but no pipes removed have shown any preasure.
