I wish mine was as easy as spraying a bit of WD40. The bracket that holds the central locking solenoid has broken, so the central locking is shot for now.

Locking with the key does nothing either, I can see the catch moving about 90 degrees, but it still does nothing.

So, i've ordered another handle off ebay which comes with a new bracket.

The problem i'm having is, undoing the philips screw on the barrel, to get the original handle off.

There are a lot of threads regarding these problems the above is just 2 of a reoccurring theme

Found the same on mine.
Opened tailgate, shut tailgate, zapped it locked/unlocked a few times & it now works.
