Technical Electric Windows

I have had my new 2008 Doblo 105 Dynamic for 6 weeks now and am very pleased with it. Feels more refined in number of areas than my 03 JTD ELX. However, one thing puzzles me is that the ELX had OneTouch operation of drivers electric window and this Dynamic does not.

This was a feature I made much use of so feels like a retrograde step on newer models.

Unless something wrong with my car!

Mine has the "keep your finger on the button" type switch and it's an '06 reg.

Mine's 06 plate & you have to hold the switch down or up.
I have had cars with that facility though & not really liked it.

I know this is an old thread but I have noticed that my "new" 06 Dynamic doesn't have the one touch window either.

Weird as it is in the handbook!

Is it supposed to? Did you ever get a definitive answer?

This feature could be a body computer / door node programable function.

Some makes of car will swap between modes if you click the button to close the window twice (with the window shut already) and hold it down on the second click for a couple of seconds. Have you tried that ?

I have a 57 plate doblo dynamic and it doesn't have the one touch option on the drivers window either. Does anybody know how to reset it or to get it to do it please as my 94 Toyota previa had it !. I feel this is a step backward or is this just a fiat thing ? I have tried keeping my finger on the button for a few seconds at the end of the windows travel on the up and down sweep to see if this works but to no avail.

my 2007 active you have to hold down and hope it does not come out of the bottom of the door?

thanks for the links.

it gave it a quick go last night but it didn't ork.

perhaps I need to hold the button for longer or try the window a few more times to get it to work.

I will try again tonight and get you know how I get on.

bad news im afraid Charlie

I have tried lots of times and it still doesn't work.

guess I will have to put up with it.

I might try asking the local fiat dealer who I used to work for about 9 years ago in the parts dept and see if they can help.

not sure if any of the old mechanics I used to know will still be there.

will let you all know if I get it sorted.
