has anyone had problems with the box on this car mine has done 46000
and has developed a crunch on 3rd this is ok on idle and anoying when changing up or down. I have replace the slave cylinder as a matter of course but still have the noise. is it a box out and resyncro job if so does anyone have any idea of what cost i should be looking at

Yes it the box out. And i think special tools are required for stripping/ rebuilding, even more in a six speed box.

You need an air press to dismantle the gears from the secondary shaft as they're mounted with interferanceB)...then I'd let the mechanic check ALL the syncros for worn ones as the box will come out very rarely...I hope!
