Hi, after having tracked this forum almost daily, just decided to register and become an "active" member. I'm trying to find information about where what's wired to my ECU. I have a end 2001 Seicento, the ECU code is >> I AW 4AF M7. I've got a workshop manual (in Holland it's called "vraagbaak", same as "your" Heynes manuals I recon) but that's meant for Seicento's optu 2000.

First of all fitting a rev. counter but I'm also thinking of puchasing a SMT6 piggyback unit or even a DTA (I've found someone who is selling his unit).

....this is the counter by the way:

Nice tape mod isn't it;)?

.....these nifty gauges are mounted on the left pillarpod, so this monster tacho should compensate (left pillarpods offcourse cause we're driving the wrong side of the road:))

Nah, don't really like that standard rev counter.

Thnx for the thread but the wiring of the counter is, I think quit logical. There are a red, black and white wire and I assume they are for +, - and a dimmer signal the other green wire then is most likely to be for the rev signal. I have a manual of pre 2001 Sei's with a clear description for a Weber Marelli IAW 16FM ECU and don't know if the wiring is the same as my IAW 4AF M7 ECU.
