Last we our 2000 899 Sei SX hit the 100,000 landmark.
When I was a lad a car with 100,000 on the clock was almost unheard of. Commonplace now and I've had several cars with much more than that. Highest I ever got to was 188,000 on a 1993 Peugeot 309.
I'm very impressed with the little Sei though, only had 28k on when we bought it.

How many others of you have more than 100K?

Ian.

Im closer to 150k on my Seicento Abarth............. ll try and get a piccy tomoz.......

Im currently touring
Australia in Mazda E2000 van with 410,000 km which is about 250,000 miles if my math is right. I guess the miles over here are easier though.

Give it luurve! (Or at least, an extra service and a few gallons of 98 octane ;).)

It gets lots of love. Personally I think high octane fuel (super unleaded?) is a waste. It's a bit like taking vitamin pills, your body can only use so much and the rest just gets peed out.

On Christmas day? At least wait until boxing day!

it was driven into in a car park and bent up at the front, i was re-shelling but ended up buying more cars and it got left and finally sold most the bits and scrapped the shell.. There is parts of it on cars far and wide, quite a few on this forum actually, my cinq has bits off it too. It had been involved in an accident before i owned it as well and was bent on drivers rear quarter too.

But it was an epic car and i wish i had finished the reshell, but at least most of the parts were re-used. I dunno what happened to alot of the turbo parts, i sold them cheap but they were for sale again for alot more shortly after :( no idea where they then went though.

Congrats! Has any major work been necessary? Has the head been off much?
If you mean me then all I've done to the engine is a new rocker cover gasket, new thermostat and a new set of leads a couple of months back. Head has never been off (probably will need to now I've said that). I do change the oil and filter regularly though. Even the tappets aren't as noisy as they used to be since I started doing a flush at every oil change.

Car has had a new clutch, alternator, bits of brake things (Discs, pads, etc), tyres, exhausts, couple of CV boots. Nothing too much out of the ordinary.

Great little car!

Oh, and new front wishbones and a fuel tank. Brake pipes were also done when the fuel tank was out as they go over the top of the tank but strictly speaking they didn't actually need doing, just saving hassle later.
