Hi,
Just got myself a nice little Seicento Sporting. Great little car but it has a annoying problem with the heater, though the heating problem seems the opposite of others I've seen reported
For some reason the heater is always on. When you move the rotate heater dial is goes nearly all the way to full heat, but 'pings' back to around 2 o'clock location. When I move it round to the cold setting there is still heat coming out.
I'm guessing that this is being caused because the heater dial in really stuck in low-heat mode, rather than off (cold), but I'm not sure why. Would this be caused by the dial being broken, or by the cable being bent? From looking at the workshop manual, the diagnostic section just cover when the heater doesn't work and not this problem. I've love being unique
Any pointers greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jon
