Hi, I have an 02 sei s. I want to know how to remove the head rest if poss. I want it removed temporarily to fit a large item in the car.

I don't think its worth it. It can be done but I think you need to remove the seat cover first! Which is not easy! Why don't you just take the seat out? Only 4 allen bolts.

No, its really simple, the rear ones are pretty obvious, just press the button, the fronts are removed by inserting a thin Alan key or something round into the little holes in the plastic bit the legs sit in,

Head restraint

Thanks just removed my head rest (shortened from the noun restraint). Easy.

Rest & Restraint are totally different and should not be confused.

It is there ONLY to restrain your head if you get shunted at the rear.

It is NOT there to "rest" your head on... man up and use neck muscles for that.
