ok had some trouble with my seicento engine so decided id save the toruble and go and get myself a punto 60 spi to replace it with so spoke to guy who had a punto 60 spi engine in his garage 200 miles away and wanted 75 bucks for it so i thought he ho lets go :)

so travelled down to newcastle and got the engine lo and behold it wasnt a punto 60 spi but a punto 75 mpi so took it anyway as i will still fit and it was the WHOLE engine not just the block :)

so i am looking to find out what else i am needing as i have picked up a few more things for it since having the engine back home list is as follows of what i have

Punto 75 engine
inlet and outlet manifolds
injector rail
punto 75 mpi ecu

anything else that i need for the finishing touches to the colection cheers in advance :D

right i have just dont this conversion on my cinq so here goes

you need the code box and matching key for the ecu
you need to make up a spacer that goes between the inlet manifold and TB or you will end up with the bonnet not closing
if you have a strut brace you will have to bin it or mod it as it will rub against your airbox
you will need to splice the 4x2mpi injector wires together in to the 2x spi injector wires on your sei loom

off the top of my head i think thats it, oh wait fuel pump will need to be out of a punto75 or sporting or similar, oh and you will need to mod the fuel flow pipe as its a screw on type connector on the 75 rail and just a push on hose on the spi set-up

PM me if you get stuck at all and if you cant find a pump i have a spare i can let go as i am upgrading anyway

disagree.

unless you are running the stock airbox, which is a bit daft given the mods you've done.

Something I did when fitting a P75 engine into a Cinq was modify the vacuum take off that is used for the brake servo.

i was running a modified stock airbox but now its well, been binned as i am now planning something else lol
and yeah the vacum pipe i hit that prob to but decided just to turn it 90deg to point towards the pass side of car and cut abit of the [plastic away (would recomend arc's way as i am getting warm air through the blowers even on cold setting)

cheers thats what i was thinking i was missing

ill just get a code box and key set then send them witht the ecu away to be matched
and the air box im running standard just now untill i find somthing other than standard need to go down to the local scrappy and grab an 899 bob or something :)

will a fuel pump from a mk2 1.2 16v sporting work do you think :)

yeah, most modern cars use the same bosch style pumps. As long as you're not expecting the pump to simply unbolt and swap over, you'll be fine.

You'll need to extract the actual pump from the assembly and swap that over.
