Hi,

What does type of tool I would need to change the oil in my Fiat Bravo II 1.6 mjet? According to my findings the drain plug is not on the bottom of the sump , it is located at side.
Regarding the oil filter, I think it is hidden in a plastic cover. Do you need to remove the right front fender in order to change it?.

I would like to change also the rear brake pads and I have some doubts about this. How to retract the piston in the calipers?. According to I can read, one piston need to be retract in clockwise way and the other one in anticlockwise way. Could you kindly explain how to do it exactly?.

Cheers

I'm not sure on the oil & filter as I drive a T-jet, however the oil filter on mine is infact in a plastic housing just to the left of the exhaust manifold & the sump plug is a 17mm bolt

The rear brake calipers do need to be wound back, not pushed, towards the front of the car, right side turns right, left side turns left
Fronts just need pushed

Hi

I have taking apart my rear brakes a couple of times. What you have to do with the piston is to wind it back under pressure the easiest way is with the special tool.

Thanks Thomaz27. I've a rewind tools but there is a right and left hand to rewind.

when you put the tool too the piston and put pressure on it and wind it, either it goes in our it will go out if it go out you change the thing that wind the piston and it will be right and go in. You will see how it works when you get to it.

or something cheaper
