Hey guys,

I had a little idea of a project to do with my dials but first I needed to take them apart to see if it could be done. Spent like 2 hours trying to get them out of the dashboard without having to remove the steering wheel.
Then i finally got them apart only to be disappointed. I couldn't remove the face of the dials to get to the top of the circuit board. I thought maybe that the needles would be removable and tugged on them a little, but they did not wanna come off.

My question is, is there a way for the needles to come off without damaging them and if not, is there any other way to be able to get access to the circuit board, more specifically the LEDs

Any help would be great (y)

A while back I took mine apart, I managed to get behind the dials. Just took the plastic front off, and pulled off the dials. Was trying to see how easy the LEDs were to access, decided against the whole thing and put it all back together lol.

Found it relatively easy to pull it all apart though, it's all just clipped.

So you pulled the actual needles off from the shafts? I really tried finding another way to get the plastic dials out from behind the needles but it was not possible  I start tugging on the needles pretty hard to the point I was worried they might break
