Dear all,

I just became a happy owner of a Fiat Bravo 1.4 16V Multiair Turbo 140PK 2011 :D

But I am a but suspicious about the salesman of this car.
When I bought the car it only came with 1 key, this key has buttons for opening en closing the locks remotely and a button to open the trunk.

So I ask the salesman, where is the other key?
He replied that the second key is missing and that a replacement is already ordered.
I asked him, will the second key be identical to the current key (with remote controlled locking and trunk opening buttons), he said that every new car, just like this Fiat Bravo, only comes with 1 key with remote controlled locking and trunk opening and a spare key without the remote buttons.

I want to ask here if this is really the case, that when buying a brand new Fiat Bravo will you only get 1 key with remote capabilities and 1 spare key without the remote capabilities, or is he just lying to me?

I hope you guys can help me out.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you both for answering so quickly!

So it is common that newer cars come with just 1 key with remote capabalities and a 2nd plain key?

If i remember correctly the second remote -key was an option at some point.
Mine also only has one key with remote and one simple key.

Its a simpler key. You might like to consider the cost of the 3 button key fro Fiat is over £300!!!!!
My car had two 3 button keys and I hope to collect a replacement for the second one tomorrow as it was bust on collection.

The RAC offer key insurance for 75p a month, having also lost a key for our Micra recently that at about £200 I am going to include this insurance as it would have paid for its self many times over
