Hi Guys

Im currently looking to get my 2007 BRAVO ACTIVE JTDM (120) 1.9D remapped I have this car for awhile now and it has never let me down. The car has covered around 90,000 Miles on the Clock.

So basically I was reading about remapping my car and the benefits it provides from:

• increased power and torque
• improved throttle response
• smoother power delivery, removing flat-spots where possible
• improved MPG during normal driving helping to reduce fuel bill

So my question is due the the age of my car and mileage would it be safe for me to remap my Fiat Bravo or would remapping cause issues later in my cars life.

Lol, Im kinda new the the Remapping Game, What did you like about it ?

i have only a stage 1 remap yet power and torque are greatly improved. throttle response a bit faster though still have power gaps in some situations.
engine health and emission not affected in the slightest. fuel consumption reduced.

the age of your car is not a problem. just make sure you cleanup the egr valve for even better results.

Sounds Interesting, Ive heard many cars doing this Remapping today.

How much is the average cost to get the Bravo done?

mine was £150 but I also had the egr valve and dpf turned off only problem ive got it dosent like been in 5th gear under 40 even on flat roads use to be able to leave my Renault in 6th and it would trundle along

With the DPF AND EGR Valve turned off has that affected your MOT ? And is it Legal.? In the UK.

Nope it walked the mot with flying colours mines only done 50000 gonna try get the dpf filter removed this year with a more free flowing exhaust

the 1.9 doesn't have a DPF.

well ive been robbed like you say dosent have the dpf pipe if you pay £140 quid plus for road tax you don't have it
