Bravo has electric steering so there is no power steering resevoir to top up!

Heavy steering must be caused by some other reason.

thanks for the replys, it all started when i went to get my cam belt replaced and water pump from a halford autocentre. now all of a sudden the power steering is very stiff when parking? wasnt like this when i gave it too them..

I wouldn't even trust a Halfords Auto Centre to pump my tyres up :(

Might just be a coincidence, nothing they touched should of interfered with the steering. Sure you didn't just always have it on city and they turned it off?

Did you have your steering on the "CITY" setting, which makes the steering lighter when parking? If so, it may just be that it has been turned off.

Never come across someone who uses city mode, I tried it once just to see how it felt and found it awful just like driving on sheet ice.

I agree. Though it's a funky "party trick" to show your mates.

Just wait until you're old and knackered, like me... -- makes navigating Waitrose's car park so much easier...! :p

About the only time it gets used, though: as it is stupidly light....
