Interesting to see the links for the braces.

They might help body roll a bit round corners. The Bravo does feel like it could be tighter. But that said id be concerned on the wear of tyres (ie whether it would get worse/uneven).

I hate it when I have to click links to even know what you're talking about...

Not to mention having to actually click on the thread and see what's in it because the title is absolutely meaningless... :p

I see some people don't like when I point out the obvious or maybe they don't understand my logic (and the forum rules) so here it is:

- Make thread titles that are meaningful.
- Put some text in your thread, not just links. (specially not ebay links, that can count as bad advertizing tactics)

Why? because it's annoying and the whole thread will completely be ignored by the search engine and be of no use to people who search for this information.

My 2 US$ cents to help you improve your posts. Don't hate me. :)

Well, I've not seen any in the UK so far, this is the first I've found. I generally don't get anything shipped in from overseas (more fool me I guess) but it was just nice to see them on eBay UK as there is very little coverage of Bravo's.

In comparison, there's loads of stuff for Puntos and 500s because they sold much stronger over here in the UK.

As a "joke" quite a few people call my car a Grande Punto to try and wind me up... which doesn't make any sense whatsoever because an Astra is just a big Corsa etc etc

Getting back on topic, if any mod does want to change the title please do, and Tad, do you think these braces would make any difference to the Bravo or not?

In handling of the car? the top simple braces are probably useless in normal dirving conditions.

The rear brace takes a huge chuck of the boot so it's not practical, the only one that might be worth getting is the front strut brace.

Undercariage braces can be more effective but they will impact the tire wear. They will make the steering more precise since the bushes in the bravo are pretty soft and the braces will keep the wheels where they're supposed to be. (edit: not in your ebay links)

I was sort of going along the same lines... I feel the boot one would be useful but your right in saying it would take up boot space and at the end of the day these are family cars :)

What makes you think the rear would be useful but not necessarily the front? Sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to get a better understanding of it all...

I will probably end up the guinea pig, I just want advice before I pour money into the unknown so to speak.

I don't want to pick faults in the car, overall it's very solid, but even with bilstein shocks and eibach pro springs I've got very little confidence in the corners or round islands. That could be down to my own lack of skill or "balls" but it feels like it could do with tightening up :)
