I've finally done it! I got aftermarket speakers, a sub and touch screen head unit to my Bravo T-jet sport! (Doors are also soundproofed with Dynamat).

 Garage that fitted was Car Audio Centre in Tooting (www.caraudiocentre.co.uk). They provided custom speaker mounts as the standard speakers are riveted in.

I have to say the subwoofer is very good quality and comes with a bass controller, much bassier than expected - the speakers are amazing quality, but aren't as loud as the standard speakers, but combined with the sub creates very clear, crisp sounds! Also, the bass controller sits just underneath the gear stick/above the handbrake and is only a few cm's long/wide.

Any thoughts?

Also, with the Stereo, does that mean I'd lose the Blue and Me integration if I went for it? And did they change the Tweeters? ^_^

Was it easy to source the template (to fill out the gap left by removal of the larger stock unit)?

just thinking about that, dont know if id fancy loosing my steering ctrls and B&ME

Nice setup, I got some stuff from there for my setup its just down the road from where I live, the guy in there is really helpful. How come the doors don't have any grills? To me that looks a little messy or did they put them back on after?

And yea you lose blue&me however the new head unit makes up for it

It cost around 930 quid, but they undercharged me for labour!

Also, not a problem it doesn't go as loud coz the quality makes up for it :)

I only took the speaker covers off to show the pics of the speakers they are still covering the speakers ;)

I was told I would lose the blue&me, but when I put the key in the ignition I still get a popup on my phone asking if I want to connect so ill double check that for u! U don't lose the steering controlls tho they connect the new head unit to the controls!

The speakers are not amplified, but the sub has a built in amp to power it.

Finally, I would reccomend anyone wanting to do something simular to just buy the head unit and sub, and instead of getting aftermarket speakers, buy aftermarket tweeters. (P.S the front speakers come with seperate tweeters which they also fitted)

hmm for £1k I would probably prefer to get the car remapped, tubos etc done, better brakes. I won't even hear the stereo then:)) so what's the point.

Fear not, I'm still gonna get a remap and exhaust :D not gonna touch the brakes or turbo tho (personal preferance)

Also gonna get some white 18's and a decent spoiler (the one from chinareal industries) and possibly remove the rear fiat badge! The sound systems just first on the list (y)

That's quite alot. I bet a lot of that was labour? If I was gonna have it done I'd do it myself =P

And why not upgrade the brakes? Stopping is a necessity :p lol

Any idea what the power output of the Headunit is? Could possibly fit a small amp and get more from the speakers ^_^
