I have read a thread on removing the top front grill, but it was on a Punto.

Is the Bravo the same? Should I just Pull it off? Is there any technique to it?
ie start on the left or the right side, top or bottom?

I don't want to break it. But I do want to change that 'girly squeak of a horn' to some thing more MANLY! AND VERY LOUD!!!!

Quiz.

I was hoping some one might actually post and tell me that they had removed a front grill from a Bravo and that nothing got broken or scratched. OH and how it comes off too.

;)No, but maybe one will read this and post;)

you have to remove the whole bumper.

How do you know this????

I was hoping it would be removable without too much hastle as i want to de-chrome the top grill surround.......

there is somone in here works for a Fiat garage is there not???? maybe they could find out and share with us lol

I suppose the definitive clue will be the part number, if the grill has a seperate part number, then it can be removed.
Now, how do I find that out?

I very much doubt the whole bumper needs to come off.

You never know. I had the MK2 Punto and the easiest way to replace a bulb on that thing was to remove the front bumper

This is Fiat things are never done simple. I wouldn't be surprised if the engine needed to come out, both rear wheels taken off and all windows removed to get the grill out :ROFLMAO:

Surprised really as they say FIAT make DIY cars. And everything i've had to do has been very easily accesible!

let me repeat again, you need to remove the whole bumper and yes the grille is a separate piece, but you still need to get the bumper off the car to remove the grille.

you need to remove the whole bumper even if you wanted to replace just the badge, that's the way it is.

Yes, it is true. The bumper must be removed to remove the grill.
I have replaced my front badge, so beleive us, not possible remove the grill without causing damages if U didn't remove the bumper. The grill is held in position by clips amd U can "disconncet" only from inside.

I fitted a Stebel Nautilus on 100HP when I had it.

Even fitted in the engine bay (as couldn't be bothered stripping bumper/wheels/etc) (so muffled by sound proofing), and using stock wiring (no relay) (Ok as fuse was 20A) (but no doubt a voltage drop at these currents) it was very loud.

Looks like it will be more difficult on the Bravo as I can't even see the horn to pull the connector out (could then T off the wires to it higher up the engine bay and connect these to the Stebel's relay).

Need to get a new FIAT CD (EPER/ELearn?) to see where all the fastenings are for the front bumper.
