I have put a deposit down on a new BRAVO 1.4 ACTIVE SPORT being under the impression from the sales person that everything will be the same as the Sport t-jet, of course knowing that it wouldnt have the turbo.
I have been reading so many different reviews of the car and quite a few of them differ in what is standard and what is optional.
I am waiting for the sales bloke to call me this morning to hopefully clarify this but if there is a lot of difference between the two "not powerwise" i mean trim levels then hopefully i can strike a deal, but some of the online sales i have seen are quite a few hundred pound different even up to a thousand pound different, i dont know which way to turn now.

Do you mean the Sport T-jet as in the Sport T-Jet 150?

Active Sport is £12,495. Active is £11.795 - difference £700

Active T-Jet is £12,895. Sport T-Jet is £14,295 - difference £1400

I'd be upset if I'd paid £1400 for the Sport over the Active, when you can get everything in the Sport over the Active for £700 if you don't mind the turbo.

Active sport is what i ordered, but the sales guy told me it would be the same as the Sport T-Jet, not the same engine but everything else would be the same.
Infact its nothing like it, a lot more features on the Sport T-Jet than the Active Sport.
Before i laid out the deposit i asked the guy if he was sure that everything was going to be the same apart from the engine, he said yes.
So now i have to find either another £1000 on top of what i was going to pay or decide if i am going to make a purchase at all .:(

there is a big difference. the fiat website makes that clear.

never listen to the words of a salesman, for a start he wouldnt know the difference between an active sport and a sport t-jet, all he would know is how much commission he gets, and maybe he would know how many wheels each car has if you find a good salesman.

find another grand or settle for a lower spec (or lose your deposit). and most importantly remember that the salesmen either dont know the answer to your question or they know and they dont want to tell you, either way you cant trust them.

All change, Ok i am going for a ex-demo with 360 miles on the clock, but it is the top spec Sport 1.4 t-jet bravo, infact i have already sat inside it on Saturday when i done a short test run not knowing then of course, not really the colour i want but looks good anyway, the maranello red metallic.
It will be sold to me for £13.995, well £3995 as i have a 2007 SEAT LEON 1.6 Stylance that i am part exchanging.
