Hi guys, was driving around in the rain today when the car suddenly started shuddering and the fuel injection warning light came on. Car still runs smoothly upto 2000 rpm, then refuses to go higher, shuddering back and forth.
I've had a look round the forum and google, but no luck as most people seem to stall/misfire/have problems starting. Car runs perfectly other than not going over 2k rpm. Any suggestions? Would prefer to check as much as possible myself before taking it to the garage to hook up to a computer.

Read the codes from ecu, no point in guessing.
