hello people,
well i want a new set of alloys in future and i kind of want a 'deep dish' look most likely on "15 or "16, could i use wobbly bolts? as most of these wheels are 4x100, or would it be safer to buy some spacers for it? and what sort of price am i gonna be looking at to do this conversion?

If they're 4x100 you'll have to either use wobblies or hub adaptors. Hub adaptors (which will change PCD) act as spacers but should only be used to correct offset. For example, if you standard wheels have an offset of ET30 and the alloys you want to fit have an offset of ET40, you'll need 10mm spacers. Hub adaptors are very thick though (25-35mm) and very expensive (£150+ per axle!) and will add a lot of weight. Best bet is find some 4x100's with the right offset and use wobblies, they are perfectly safe.

Make sure the centre bore is right thats what keeps your wheel centralised and takes most of the forces especialy bumps.
It is 58.1mm on all the the 1995-2001 Bravo's.

If its wrong the bolts and hubs get detroyed and your wheels fall off.

My 500 Alloys have an offset of 35mm Which I really liked the look of.
Something with a 35mm offset would sit like this on any 1.2,1.4 and 1.6 Bravo

so if i went a bought some alloys but PCD 100 and with an offset of 35 would this be ok ? and with wobbly bolts of course..
Yes as long as the Centre bore is 58.1mm The Centre bore is the most important one.

If you have to adjust the centre bore the wheel could machined out if its smaller or fit spigot rings if the wheel is bigger.

Center bore is purely down to the manufacturer of the wheel, a lot of aftermarket wheels (Team Dynamics, OZ, etc) tend to have a large centre bore (65mm+) so that they can fit the majority of vehicles with spigot rings, without the need for a machine shop to enlarge the hole. It's not based on rim diameter as all Fiat's have a 58.1mm centre bore but use wheels from 13" to 18". That said, some manufacturers will make wheels specifically to fit say VW or Vaux, both of which have smaller centre bore than Fiat (56mm, I think?). If in doubt, ask the seller - as long as it greater than or equal to 58.1mm you'll be fine :)
Also, 16's will be fine as Adrian's 500 wheels were 16's

well does anybody know what the limit could be for the bravo's offset, if its 38 or 40, then brilliant...but that could mean that i can have 4x100 on wobbly bolts with more of an offset of 35...or maybe im getting too excited and wrong

If you've got ET35 fitted at the moment, go for ET35, if you can only find ET38, fit 3mm spacers - ET40, fit 5mm spacers. Remember as well, if using spacers you'll need longer bolts to accomodate the extra depth.
Don't know why I thought those 500 wheels were 16's Ade, must be having a senior moment lol.
