so the alarm arms but the doors dont lock themselves

sounds like one of the door lock switches is stopping them most likely the boot but normally that system locks regardless and warns you a door is open with another beep from the alarm after the long lock beep

i take it you are getting 2 beeps for unlock and one beep for lock so the alarm side is working normaly and it's just the central locking circuit that is not working properly as they are 2 seperate systems linked to the remote reciever yet they talk to each other over a k line to comuicate doors open and alarm trigers and such also key remote codes

Yeah the alarm beeps and activates ok its just the locking it seems the drivers door lock doesnt go right down like the other 3 and if i put the key in drivers door to lock all doors it wont.....so based on what youve said im going to take the drivers door card out tomorow and have a look.
Im gonna do the electric windows as well as they are as slow as fook lol.

Took the drivers door card out today and had a look but aint got a clue what to check sprayed wd40 all over the locks but still have the same problem.
when i press the button the doors lock then unlock.....
can anyone point me to what ive got to look for and how to check when ive got the door card off and an easy way to fix please its really doing my head in now lol
