Hi all,

Bought a Fiat 500 Lounge and wanted to update Blue and me, so I started the process, installed files, put in car, then uploaded file, started install for 7.0 and it spoke as normal but now 20 mins later it not looking like its doing anything and the radio is on as normal,

Should I just wait or can i turn car off and on and leave stick in to see what happens?

Dont want to break blue & me only had car a day,

thanks,

Lee.

By now,13 hours later, you MUST have turned off the car! Was all well?

I take it that you are trying to update from here?

It's a 2 stage process. Format an EMPTY USB stick to FAT32, then download the initial part of the process from B&M to the stick. Put it in the car USB port-- the car says "update started" then generates a code which it writes to the stick. This takes a few seconds only. The dash should display "completed". Return with the USB to the computer, plug it in and upload the generated code to the B&M site.

Empty the USB stick,or use another empty FAT32 stick.IF your car is not already running v7.0, then the B&M site will give you update files to put on your stick. Then, put it back in the car, the update begins, dash confirms this, takes around 10mins,just wait and then when done it again says "completed".

If you waited 20 mins, you either missed the dash display or something went wrong.

You do not run the engine thru the process. If you haven't done the 2 stages (unclear from your post),then you haven't done it correctly.

If it's all gone horribly pear shaped- as it did for me the first time, it seemed completely unintuitive - see my post on this section of FF, re FIX to put it right. Good luck.
