Take note fellow 'B' owners.
Our 'B' was insured with Direct Line at a very reasonable rate. On renewal they hiked the rate. So my other half (Mrs.B.) did the usual hunt and More Than came up best. Told Direct Line she would not be renewing and they said "why didn't you contact us as we would have reduced our premium to keep you as a customer!". Sadly all to late.
Later....
Boom, passenger side window explodes, drops 90+% of the heavy glass onto the top of the door, rear wind and hood cover.
All three badly chipped!
Direct Line covered piant damage by broken glass. More Than (and others) will not.
Bottom line. The 'B' door tops and wings, due to their almost horizontal and wide surface area, are VERY vulnerable to bad paint damage due to broken glass dropping en-masse onto them.
I would suggest you take paint damage due to broken glass into your insurance decisions.
