Hey guys, have just sold my Riviera. It has done 50 miles since the MOT last june. Concentrating on my true love, my Lancias. Got a 1972 2000 Coupe, just got a 1971 2000HF which arrived today (spares car probably) and about to get a 1968 Flavia Coupe 1800.

I will miss the B, though it never lived up to my first 1998 LE in Stelvio Green. I may well buy topher's ropey stone chipped blue one so you may not be rid of me yet.

cheers :)

I don't know wether to say congrats or shout at you......

Narr good luck with it and keep in touch.(y)

Will tell the bloke about the forum when he picks it up next Saturday. He was keen, a 14 hour round trip to view it.

Asking about money? How rude!! Got £4750 for it, so a top end price. But then, it must be one of the best out there. Got my hands full with the Lancias but tophers has an appeal. Just to have one and be able to take it out and not care about running up the mileage or getting stone chips etc would be great. That was the problem with mine. Too good to use!

Anyway, been fun on the forum. Great bunch of guys (and girls) on here.

Obviously its not ropey!! Thats Lancia man putting people off so I dont sell it so he can haggle the price down!!

Hey Chris. I suppose people might read that throwaway comment and take it literally, so for the record -

Topher's B is not ropey!!! Bit of stone chipping on the nose (like many) but a clean looking, solid and mechanically sound, B and a good buy at a very fair price.

Cheers buddy! I wasnt having a pop or anything! I am off to look at a new car for the wife today, wonder what boring estate I can think up! Seat Altea XL looks nice or a new Mondeo but the BMW 5 series looks a bit out of reach!!!

Try a Subaru Legacy estate - mine is brilliant. Incredible build quality, 4wd security, tons of space. Only, I mean the only, slight downside is the average 25mpg fuel consumption - which will go to 30 odd on an Mway run. But then, it is a 3.0 245bhp 4wd, so actually good for what it is.

Thoroughly recommend one.
