Quite aside from the issues of space, space, money, and space, this wouldn't work as a toy. (n) A theoretical off-road toy needs to drive well, needs an mot or it can't get anywhere, but can look as scraggy as you like. ;)

Nope, just need a towbar on your Abarth and a trailer

I don't think it's got a very high towing weight - legally I think a Panda can tow more??!

Panto has a tow bar though, as I asked Vernon to put one on. The lack of weight is probably the limiting factor tbh, from a safety point of view?

Coupe would tow well, albeit a not very conventional tow car (I think you can get hooks for them).

How about a Regata Weekend (estate)? I fancy one of those.....

I've always liked marea weekends personally :)

A bit new for a classic policy sadly, though the 2.0 20v is nice (and can be used as an engine donor for Coupe's or Panda's!!) :D

The Regata is a Strada in drag so is easy to get onto a classic policy if you can find one that hasn't dissolved! The Tempra SW is a Tipo in drag so could probably get onto a classic policy at a push.

No, a nice Regata Weekend with the 100bhp 1600i engine would be fine...... Now where do you find one of those in mint condition, and cheap?? :bang:

Its no secret I'm a huge fan of tipos and tempras too :) the first car I ever drove was a digital dash tipo, it was brill :)

Like regatas and stradas too to be fair but I have good memories of tipos, unos, pandas and bravas, so that's probably why :)

Yep me too - I loved my 1.4 DGT Tipo. I'd buy it back like a shot if it still existed (which sadly I don't think it does  ). What a good job there don't seem to be any left available to buy!!

Yes thanks Jamie, I keep looking at the pics of that one. It looks a bit expensive to me (about £1k) & is lhd..... It doesn't seem to be selling at that price, but I mustn't get tempted to go and see it!!! :tempt:

I could run you over to pick it up if you decided to buy
