Anybody got any idea on the current lead times for the 500L MPW? Ordered one a few weeks ago...getting very impatient

For some reason, they are taking around 4 months just now, sorry.
I work in a fiat dealer and after having told a few customers 12 weeks (what they usually are) the last few factory orders I have had have been 16+ weeks.

The other problem is, the logistics have changed in the way they are "called off" from walon.
In the past, when the car got to status 45/50, we had to go online and physically request for the car to be delivered to the dealership.
Now it's an auto call off which is a pain in the arse, as all of my cars have stayed at status 40 for weeks, haven't changed to 50/60 and have appeared unexpectedly. (Status 60 is the car has arrived at the dealer)

This means you cannot give the customer an update as to when the car is due to arrive.
The whole fiat/ stobart logistics is poor at the moment, so if your dealer cannot give you a time for the car arriving, that's why.

Hi Guys thanks very much for all the information. The time scale quoted was 8-12 weeks but he felt he would only get an accurate reflection about 2-3 weeks after ordering but still haven't heard anything back yet and that was about 3 weeks ago.

Oh well its not a huge deal to be honest guess ill have to wait it out anyways but its a bit like being a kid at Christmas

Im in Plymouth too, ordered my 1.4 popstar 12th September pick it up this Tuesday the 1st ,about 11 weeks cant wait.

Well thats a bonus if they are on time...still haven't heard much from my dealer, I ordered a 1.6 popstar really looking forward to getting it...one day...soon...hopefully

So just a quick update got a call from my dealer today...apparently Fiat are no longer making the 1.6 105 engine so that leaves me with the 1.3 or the 1.6 120 but these are both a lot dearer, so dont know what to do now...

It's very poor that they've kept you waiting at least 2 weeks just to tell you the car you ordered can no longer be supplied. I'd speak to the dealer and/or Fiat UK and say you'd like to go with the 1.6 120bhp Multijet, and they can pay the shortfall.

If you have a signed order form with your engine choice on, I think they might be on dodgy ground not offering assistance financially.

The updated engines have been showing on Fiats website for months so i'm at a loss as to how the dealer didn't know!
