Stocky, I'm in Toronto, Canada and have been thinking about adding a sliding roof to our 1966 600D. I have been in touch with Legacy but was wondering if you had an update as far as -Bit the bullet and ordered one
Tim with regard the Legacy top its good quality but don't buy the one they advertise for 600 as its too big. The one I ordered in the end was 32" width and 40" length which fits the indent pretty well.Stocky, I'm in Toronto, Canada and have been thinking about adding a sliding roof to our 1966 600D. Are you happy you with the end result ?
Anything you would have done differently ?
What about the problem with the material length ?
What colour(s) did you order ? I'm interested because ours is also white (picture attached)
Any comments / advice would be appreciated.

Looks great! I am with @rusty500 in that you are very brave cutting into your car like that. Finally opened up the size I planned to do in the beginning. Mounted front seatbelts and did a motivational start
Thanks Stocky, I'm pretty sure you'll hear from me again.Tim with regard the Legacy top its good quality but don't buy the one they advertise for 600 as its too big. The one I ordered in the end was 32" width and 40" length which fits the indent pretty well.
Only issue is it's not as curved as the roof but near enough with a bit of help. Colour is
SeaMark Dubonnet Tweed Canvas
which is more a maroon than red but good quality with black lining.
I'm happy to send you any photos or advice you want to help you, good luck.
Stocky, I'm going to order from Legacy but I have questions about the size that you ordered (32" x 40") and why you felt that size was better than Legacy's standard size 34" x 44".Hi I have a dilemma, I really miss the sunroof I had in my 500 and have sourced an American company than do a what looks quality kit for a 600.
My worry is as its not original will it ruin the car or should i just go for it as it will make using the car on a daily basis so much better?
I'll add my car is not a show car by any means but has had only one other family own it.
I've attached a photo of the kit, what's your thoughts?
Thanks, took my time, a couple of days as its easy to cut or drill wrong. Had a bit of a carry on with the handle snapping closed but all good now.
Just need some good weather.
Just re measured mine its 32" × 41" to outside of cover.Stocky, I'm going to order from Legacy but I have questions about the size that you ordered (32" x 40") and why you felt that size was better than Legacy's standard size 34" x 44".

Have you had yours out for a drive yet ? Any comments ?
It looks really nice.Just re measured mine its 32" × 41" to outside of cover.
I've attached photos so you can see how it sits relative to roof indent.
Legacy's larger one overhung the indent and with the curve at the back it didn't sit down at corners.
40" would allow it to be located before the curve gets too severe.
Just my thoughts though.
Whoa ! HM Revenue & Customs wouldn't allow you to import it as a part for a classic car ?Shipping was 77usd but I also got stung £140 customs duty.
