My uncles header tank just cracked so he is in need of a new one. Does one off any other car fit or does it have to be off the x19?

Also is anyone selling one, and how much do fiat charge?

You best getting your hands on a secondonhand one for a 1300 x1/9
As they are stainless steel, rather than the RuBBisH plastic ones that slplit on 1500s

Ok thanks mate, he has a expansion tank(I think thats the right thing?) from the 1300 in stock.

Is it a direct fit?

The mountings in the X1/9 engine bay are identical between models so no danger of problems fitting the earlier tank (I had one on my racer for a while).

To be honest though, provided the hoses fit you can use almost any header tank. The important details are the capacity, height and the rating on the pressure cap.

If you can get a metal tank from a 1300 then it is definitely the best option.

And the stainless tanks look soooo much better too
