I have a new shift linkage shoulder bolt. It comes with a bolt, a wavy washer, a bushing, and a nylock nut.

I have a factory manual. What the manual does NOT show is the order of those pieces being assembled.

Does anyone have a good picture of the bolt/washer/bushing/nut installed correctly, so I have a reference?

I may be able to figure this one out myself, BUT, it usually saves a lot of time if someone shows the right way first.

(Experience is a mean teacher. She gives the test first, and the learning afterwards.)

This is all I have.

15-17-18-19 in the first diagram.

In my manual, it does not show clearly. So, that is the order.

Bolt goes from the bottom, up through bushing (bushing flange towards head of bolt), then goes through wavy washer, then through lollipop/shifter shaft from the bottom side, then through the transmission shift shaft, then the nylock nut goes on the bolt from the top of the transmission shaft.

Okay then.

Thanks Everyone. You are a valuable resource, and your assistance is much appreciated!
