As I've been going through and sorting out all of the small issues with my first X, I realized that my front hood release cable seems to be missing entirely. Thankfully my hood was unlatched when I bought it. I have a new latch with the sheath and everything, but I haven't been able to find through research or observation where the cable goes through the firewall and where exactly it mounts inside of the car. Any experience is much appreciated!

The cable on mine has failed and i'm putting off fixing it! its a little awkward... It goes through the firewall and behind the dash iirc. Then down into the footwell - on a UK car its on the passenger side - but it may be on the drivers side over there?

Do you still have the lever fitted?
