Well since im new here i wanted to start in the forum with a good long post
In 2009 my father, my brother and i bought a 1976 x1/9 so we brought it to my father's workshop.

this is how it looked like:

Fist thing we did was try to start it.
it started but my father immediately wanted to change the ignition system for an electronic system so we bought a whole kit of electronic ignition (coil distribuitor and module) from a old yugo at our local junkyard.

few hours later we installed it and it turned on!
