We have had this car for just about a year now but we are finally able to get some work done to it now that our other cars are ready to go. So here goes our project 1980 Fiat X 1/9 :)

We have a Youtube channel that I will post a link for in my signature for you. I am constantly trying to update that with videos of all our builds. So if you want video of the project just head on over. But I will start here with some pictures to get it going.

This is the rotted frame rail that has got to go.

Along with the box for my intercooler.

So let me know what you guys think! I really love feedback. I will keep updating as I go. So let me know if there is anything specific you want a picture of or want to know about the car. Have a great day!

Haha yeah it's pretty bad. But thats what it gets sitting in someones backyard for 8 years :bang:. I'll make sure I get pictures when I get that all cleaned up.

Yay for me! SOOOO now we are going to chop the entire support out and fab up our own with DOM tubing.

So I have not posted in a little while. But thats a good thing trust me! We have gotten so much done in that time. Everything is off the x1/9. EVERYTHING. Today we got the Engine/Transmission out along with the gas tank. So now we are going to be doing structural support and body work before it goes out to Boston to get the cage in it. While it is out in Boston we will be tearing the motor down and building it up from scratch to put the turbo with it. Long process and I am sore right now haha. Heres some pics of just today. This is how we have been moving the body around because we don't have a pulley up just yet haha.

Heres a new update. Everything is completely out of the car.(Besides the wiring harness) It is having the paint stripped off of it right now. It is up off the ground and on a rotisserie. Heres a couple pics plus one of the new Hydraulic Hand Brake that will be going in it.
