never seen this carb mod before......

From the auction: "The car has been modified to run an SU carb with a large air filter, which whilst gives the car more enthusiasm on short journeys, but is rubbish after any distance. (The carb gets hot after a while and causes the car to hesistate)."

In other words - "Set sail for fail"

makes me wonder if my bike carb plan will have the same problem tho, as the work on pretty much the same principle as the SU carbs
