I have a 82 x19, now then this is my problem.

Lights work fine, starts fine, but the rev counter and speedo / internal clock / wipers do not.

I have replaced the dash board (No joy)

Very rarly the lot works.

Changed all the fuses (Nothing there)

What could be the prob!!! HELP>>>>>>

probably a bad ground somewhere or some wires rubbed together and are shorting out. you can try getting an ohm meter to test it and see if it has a good ground or just trace all of the wires to there termination point. more likely a grounding problem i believe, because grounds can get enough contact to work sporadically pretty easily

OK, if you already tried this i'm sorry. But for the longest time I thought mine was having the same problems then one night I found a switch on the middle console and the instrument lights worked. And this is after I had taken apart my dash and broken my speedo cable. I was so mad.
