I have a 1982 X/19 with 1500cc engine, 5 speed, and Bosh electronic ignition. The car was driving OK. One day I went to stari it. The starter turns OK but the engine won't fire up and run. There is spark at the spark plugs, the injectors spray OK, there is proper compression in each cylinder. I have performed every diagnostic in the Bosch L-jetronic fuel injection troubleshooting, maint., and repair manual. Everything tests out OK. The car should fire up and run.

Does anyone have any ideas?:bang:

If you have compression, spark and fuel then in theory you have everything you need. The only detail left is timing. Either the trigger for the spark is off or the cam timing is off. Thankfully it is a non-interference engine so if the cam timing if off there won't be any severe damage.
