some theives have tried to pinch my car its a 93 uno 1.1ie they pulled the barrell out to the left hand side to the key hole . Now i cant get it to start at all , i have electrics but when i try to start it from the left hand side it turns over but nothing. there is also no ignition lights or anything, what could be wrong, if i could just find a way to get it started in order to get it to a sparky. Ive checked the fuse box under the glove box and they are all fine can anyone help

They tried stealing mine a few years ago and i had to fit a new barrel. You need a tester pen. Its a pen shaped devise with a spike at one end and a light at the other. You find + and - in no time...

well, if the steering is unlocked, u could hotwire the car, on a mk2 u can just take the plug out of the back of the ignition, and connect the brown and orange wires together. then just push start the car, to turn car off remove brown and orange from each other.
